OVERVIEW – 01
Challenge
The existing development website had grown into a collection of disconnected pages with outdated visuals, inconsistent navigation, and unclear calls to action. Donors often had to navigate multiple pages before finding meaningful giving opportunities, making it difficult to connect with the university’s fundraising priorities. The redesign needed to modernize the experience, simplify navigation, and launch before Homecoming, the university’s largest annual fundraising event.
Approach
Led the redesign from concept through implementation, translating stakeholder goals into a cohesive donor experience across 15 webpages. Working closely with the Development marketing team through multiple rounds of feedback, I designed each page within the university’s CMS using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and responsive layouts. I consolidated redundant content, developed new landing pages for key giving priorities, strengthened visual storytelling through imagery and video, and shifted the site’s messaging from department-focused information to donor-focused impact.
Outcome
The redesigned website launched on schedule ahead of Homecoming, consolidating 23 webpages into a streamlined 15-page experience while introducing six focused landing pages for the university’s fundraising priorities. The department praised the collaborative process, the site remains the current production experience, and the redesign established a clearer path for donors to explore giving opportunities and take action.

STRATEGY – 02
